This God, who displays Himself in Christ & defines Himself as Grace – The One who freely offers uncommon Life & unconditional Love to answer the core need of every person that breathes & moves around in this beautiful but fallen world…

This God who evokes wonder, & questions, & what ifs… This God has been visiting Common Ground.

This God who is in all places at all times has undeniably been setting up shop on this expanse of acreage. And the collaborations & stories resulting in God hanging out here have been consistently good, surprisingly imaginative, & simply epic. The steady stream of stories & life-bettering occurrences are what led to dedicating these 93 acres to the mission and visitors of this extraordinary, yet ordinary, beautiful plot of land.

Common Ground’s mission is to help connect people to God, to each other, & to nature in ways that help them encounter the embrace of Jesus.

No matter who you are or where you are on the spiritual map, we’re inviting you to visit. Come alone or bring your dog, kid, or companions. Get on the land, walk the trail, visit the chapel, talk to God, & see what happens.

Common Ground is stewarded by First United  Methodist Church
And is a collaborative partner of  24-7 Prayer via the Charlotte Prayer Room
